Helium Balloon Safety & Sales Policy

Important Safety Information:

• Inhalation Risk:
  Do not inhale the contents of helium-filled balloons. Inhaling helium can displace oxygen in your lungs and cause serious health risks, including suffocation and unconsciousness. Do not inhale helium or encourage others to do so.
• Choking Hazard:
  Balloons, especially deflated or broken ones, can be a choking hazard for children. Always supervise children when using balloons. Small balloon parts can present a serious risk of suffocation. Dispose of deflated balloons immediately and properly.
• Proper Disposal:
  Please do not release helium balloons outdoors. Balloons can harm the environment and pose a risk to wildlife. Connecticut law prohibits the release of ten or more helium or other lighter-than-air gas balloons into the atmosphere within a 24-hour period. Violating this regulation can lead to fines and penalties. Please dispose of all balloons responsibly.
• Age Restriction:
  Balloons should not be used by children under 8 years old without adult supervision. Keep balloons and small parts away from children at all times.

Sales Policy:

• No Returns on Filled Balloons:
  All sales are final once balloons are filled with helium. We do not accept returns or exchanges once the balloons have been delivered or picked up. This policy ensures that we maintain product integrity and safety.
• Pre-Fill Adjustments:
  Any changes or adjustments to your order must be made via phone or email before the balloons are filled. Once the balloons are prepared, we cannot accommodate changes or returns. Please confirm your order carefully before processing.
• Faulty Items:
  If you receive a defective balloon or one that was incorrectly filled, please notify us immediately upon delivery or pick-up. We will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement or fix the issue, but we do not accept returns for balloons that have been used or are in satisfactory condition. Please inspect your order at the time of delivery.
• Delivery Issues:
  In the rare event that an issue occurs during the delivery process (such as damage, loss, or delay), New Haven Balloon LLC will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer and rectify the situation. Please contact us immediately if you notice any discrepancies or damages during delivery. We will work with you to resolve any issues in a timely and satisfactory manner. However, we are not liable for any damages that occur after the balloons have been handed over to the customer.

Legal Compliance:

• Refund & Exchange Policy Disclosure:
  In accordance with Connecticut General Statutes § 42-110aa, New Haven Balloon LLC discloses our refund and exchange policy clearly and conspicuously on our website. By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
• Environmental Considerations:
  In compliance with Connecticut law, we remind you that it is illegal to release ten or more helium or other lighter-than-air gas balloons within a 24-hour period. Doing so can result in fines. Please dispose of balloons responsibly and consider the environment when using our products. We do not condone or support the release of balloons outdoors.
• Liability Waiver:
  By purchasing helium-filled balloons from New Haven Balloon LLC, you agree to release the seller from any liability for injury, harm, or damage resulting from misuse or improper handling of the balloons, including, but not limited to, helium inhalation, choking hazards, and environmental harm caused by improper disposal. You also agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the seller.
• Helium Availability:
  Please note that helium is a finite resource. While New Haven Balloon LLC strives to ensure availability, helium supply is subject to market fluctuations, and we may experience delays in filling your order depending on availability. We will notify you promptly if there are any issues regarding helium stock. We appreciate your understanding.
